Lumena Resources Corp. (“Lumena”)(Stock code: 67) completed the issue of US$250 million 12% senior notes due 2014 on 27 October 2009.  The net proceeds of the issue of the senior notes being an estimated sum of not less than US$238 million shall be used by Lumena to fund the full repayment of its existing loan facility, the capital expenditures for its existing and future expansion plans and for general corporate purposes.  The senior notes are listed and are traded on the Singapore Exchange.  Our firm, as Lumena’s Hong Kong counsel, advised Lumena on Hong Kong law in relation to this issue of senior notes.
