Artfield Group Limited (Stock Code: 1229) acquired 51% equity interest in Star Fortune International Investment Company Limited in April 2009 at the consideration of HK$100 million. Star Fortune indirectly holds the mining rights and exploration rights of two coal mines in Xinjiang, the PRC. The transaction constitutes a very substantial acquisition under the HK Listing Rules.
