We acted for an Authorized Person in the criminal proceedings involving alleged unauthorized building works at No. 7 York Road, Kowloon. The two subject charges against the Authorized Person involve: (1) commencement of building works without approval and consent from Building Authority; and (2) knowingly misrepresent a material fact in Form BA13 submitted to Buildings Department. The case had gone through a 23-day trial and the Authorized Person was eventually acquitted on both charges with costs.
